Providing our clients with a safe and rewarding trip is out top priority. Both Paul and Don are Licensed Fishing Guides with the New Hampshire Fish & Game Department and are members of the New Hampshire Guides Association. We also have current Red Cross CPR and First Aid Training.

THE GUIDES:

Paul VanderWende - Paul has been fishing the lakes and streams of New Hampshire and New England for over 40 years. His fishing skills and likes are, fly fishing for Brook Trout, Trolling for Landlocked Salmon and Lake Trout on the larger lakes, Fishing lakes and ponds for Smallmouth Bass.
He also enjoys giving fly casting and fishing Lessons and introducing people to the sport of fishing.
He is also the author of the popular fishing book "Field Guide To New Hampshire Trout Ponds"

Don Schrock - Don also has over 40 years fishing the lakes and streams of New Hampshire and New England. His skills are fly fishing river and streams for Brook Trout, and fishing those small out of the way streams. Trolling the larger lakes for Landlocked Salmon and Lake Trout. Fishing smaller Trout Ponds for Rainbows and Book Trout.
Another favorite activity of his and one he never gets tiered of is fly fishing for Stripers. 
 

WHAT TO BRING:

• Change of clothes -  No matter how careful you are, when spending time around water there's always the chance of getting wet when you didn't mean to.

• Hat - To provide protection from the sun and flies from errant casts.

• Sun Glasses - Polarized would be a good choice.

• Sun Block / Bug Repellant - These are things we always have on hand, but if you have a favorite or are sensitive to different brands, please bring your own.

We have fishing equipment available for loan if need be. Please let us know upfront if you will be needing a loaner to assure availability.
